Please ensure you have an appropriate space booked and ready for the session before the arrival of the Lively Helpers. We request that you provide the following:

Tables & chairs
Tea/coffee
WiFi
Projector + screen + cable/connection (Tech Help Workshop only)
Our Lively Helpers will introduce themselves to you when they arrive. We ask that you show them to their room, ensure they are set up on the WiFi, and are connected to the projector if required.
For Tech Help Workshop and Tech Help Pop-Up, Helpers will arrive 30 minutes before the advertised beginning of the session to ensure everything is set up.
For 1:1 Friendly Tech Help, Helpers will arrive just before their first booked session. If possible, please provide Helpers with a list of the attendees who have booked for the session.Â
Please help direct participants to the session as they arrive. Otherwise, our Helpers will run sessions independently.
For 1:1 Friendly Tech Help, where possible, we ask for your support in ensuring that 1:1 sessions conclude 5 minutes before their scheduled conclusion so Helpers can have a short break before their next client and take some notes.
We ask that you be available to deal with any onsite issues or incidents, such as aggressive participants or health and safety concerns. Please note our Helpers are not first aid trained.
If participants in group sessions exceed 15 people, Helpers may call on you for some additional support.
Our Helpers will return the space to the state in which they found it, and let you know when they have finished the session.
Please follow your own procedures in the event of an emergency. Please note that Helpers are not able to provide first aid.
